I like how every wednesday we bake at work. I was surprised by how fast work went yesterday. Some days the job is very slow like the day before and sometimes they just go by super fast and I can't believe where the time went. 

Later in the night, a friend and I went to the Starry Plough Pub because every single week on Wednesday they have a Poetry Slam and the poets were amazing.  A lot of them were youth and it's amazing to see how good they are. Even though I write some poetry sometimes, I'm nowhere near their caliber.  However, I am biased based on the guidelines that I learned about in Poetry for the People. If it's not personal enough or if the person just isn't vulnerable enough, I can't empathize with them. 

Anyways, it's nice to finally get out of my house and actually starting to go to things like I said I would. It's nice to see what is out there in the future.
